I love visiting @quantumghosts‘ page these days because every time I see the word war I either go “Hell yeah, I’m winning” or I see @hexephra‘s word count and go “OH NO YOU DON’T” and have to rush to prove I am the alpha writer by tossing another couple hundred/thousand words on my fic.

Basically, if I finish my NaNo this year, you can blame those two.

re: finding good tctwsg bits - the bit about ron needing to get the sword instead of harry (i'm at like ~11:00 on episode 7.19), i really liked this as an analysis of the themes that are important in hp. i'll let you know if i find anything else useful but i keep spacing out and not looking for good parts, just enjoying the podcast in general.

can you explain the google sheets thing? i have no idea how that would even work...?

oh absolutely! i learned everything i know about it from PoisonedPaper’s templates and guides, so that’s a great resource to look at. But basically, you create a Google sheet that uses the concatenate function to easily fill out a bio template that has multiple changing components. 

One section of the sheet is where you fill everything out - name, font colors, images, anything that changes from bio to bio. All of this information is linked to another cell that puts it all together in your template, and then you can copy the filled-out template and put it in the dragon’s bio! It’s way faster than manually changing everything, especially if (like me) your bios have a lot going on.

Thanks, tho I’m not really sad/have a breakdown like last time, I’m just depressed. Everything is meh and the only thing stopping me from laying down and doing nothing at all is I have life obligations and people who’d worry.

Thank you for the hug, it’s appreciated, even if not emotionally, but only in a conscious, reasonable way, because it has little to no effect on how I feel :(
