I just saw this on Reddit and I really wanted to add my (absolutely unoriginal, half the people on the Reddit post agreed with me) opinion on this.

I don't think it's even much of a contest. Tolkien would spend five hours describing the trees before I ever got to make the first roll. Martin would throw so much horrifying shit at me that I'd be either crying or dead in the first 30 minutes. And Rowling is a dick.

But I would absolutely

LOVE

to play a campaign by Terry Pratchett. My god that would be hilarious! Imagine getting death as a companion because you won a roll against him when you died and now he's your friend. Imagine all the other possibilities! I would definitely love that.

(I just really want to play again. Corona put a stop to our usual campaign and we haven't started again yet.)

i haven’t been able to talk to anyone about it and i havent even been able to mourn at all and i am just so fucking sad

i can see a broken man inside my fathers eyes and theres not a damn thing i can do

and i have three days of school before vacation and im not ready to face anyone yet. especially without wanting to cry.
