both of us do
its an enforced uniform, do you not respect his will?????
21-23 and 45-48 for Rose please? Of course you don't have to do them all and please take your time! :)
Ohh so many! let me answer them all :)
21. Do they have a temper? Are they patient? What are they like when they do lose their temper?
Rose is definitely the impatient kind with most people.
22. What are their favourite insults to use? What do they insult people for? Or do they prefer to bitch behind someone’s back?
She calls Eskel “mutt” as a nickname, but that is hardly in insult to him. Mutts are good dogs. “twat” or “fat fuck” are good words to call nobles. Fuck in general is a very useful word for describing people.
23. Do they have a good memory? Short term or long term? Are they good with names? Or faces?
Rose remembers faces well, and peculiar details about people she’s met. As a young witcher in training she was taught to remember things about people in case it could later be used as leverage should the need arise. Despite not being a fan of manipulation that habit was ingrained into her.
45. How do other people see them? Is it similar to how they see themselves?
Rose appears hostile to most people, which is not entirely unjustified. She is not easily trusting. She has a hard time maintaining friendships, resulting in her believing she is not a good friend and cannot be. A lot of people believe it as well, though not entirely true. She could be a good friend with a little more effort, and the letting go of bad ingrained habits. The cat school is not focused on encouraging companionship.
Eskel is a harder person to fool, he knows how to read people too well. And after all he did befriend Lambert, so how hard could that be?
46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?
I think it’s safe to say Rose makes terrible first impressions. Her often hostile demeanor combined with her being very unfeminine makes her appear very unpleasant to most people, occasionally threatening. This impression is only somewhat accurate, it can’t be denied there is truth to this first impression, but she appears more threatening than she actually is.
47. How do they act in a formal occasion? What do they think of black tie wear? Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?
Rose isn’t exactly the type that gets invited to balls, and she hasn’t worn a dress since she was taken to the cat school at seven years old. She’s never been to a fancy party, but she mocks the event as an occasion for rich fat fucks to gloat over their wealth and get even fatter.
48. Do they enjoy any parties? If so what kind? Do they organise the party or just turn up?
Rose hasn’t managed to maintain enough proper friendships at a time to be able to attend an actual party. It is a new experience that is strange to her, but small, village festivals would later become something to love (and, unexpectedly, make her gain an appreciation for dancing)
grip
As you gripped the letter tight against your chest, you weakly fell back on the large bed you shared with him and choked on silent sobs in your throat.
Send me a word! If it’s in my WIP document, I’ll answer your ask with the sentence that it appears in.
