“Thank you for coming, my love.” Arianna said, greeting her friend with a warm hug. Despite living not that far from each other, adulting always got in the way of the two hanging out. Something would always come up. Luckily today she was out of work early and Leandro was behaving himself so she could invite her friend over. “Come in, come in. I have some snacks ready and wine -- of course. How’ve you been?” she said, leading her into the house.

“You know, you didn’t tell me that your boyfriend was Batman” he commented, glad to finally have found somewhere a bit more quiet to actually be able to talk to Mikki. Of course he understood it was a job, and none of it was real. But that didn’t make seeing her come in with another man, especially when she was dressed as Catwoman, any easier. Alright, that might have more to do with the fact that the outfit was highly distracting as it was. Trying to be with someone, but having to hide in the shadows was hardly easy at the best of times, but he thought he’d be able to do it. He’d done it with Nate once before, but then Nate wasn’t fake dating someone else, and this felt harder. All thoughts he’d keep to himself, knowing it was just his own ego. “How long have you got?”
