it dawned on me like just now that you were like “i didnt like this comic very much” and my idiot response was “WEIRD BC IT REMINDED ME OF YOUR COMIC”

it doesn’t. the geopolitical intrigue and heavy interest in personal relationships between people in constant contact with each other because of obligation are the only overlapping threads. but the relationships in m.o. feel like they took the framework of moore’s clumsy attempts to write compelling uncomfortable relationships between people but used it in a much more competent way

unless they’ve been evolving away since they haven't been needed for so long for his people and all he has are tiny hotwings that really do nothing for him.
