                    the sunset coats two likely allies with nourishing hues of orange & yellow, rewarding them with an unbeatable view after their long night. their vigilantism ended hours ago, even the city's criminals need to sleep eventually, leaving spider-man & blonde blazer to sit upon the edge of the skyscraper together. the minutes became hours, accommodating for vulnerable conversations as well as comfortable confiding in one another. their friendship may be new, yet they talk as if they've known each other for years. ❛ haven't lived until you have been, right?  ❜ he softly quipped, webbed fingers shuffling around each other as he idly watches the view below them. memories, soft & sore, cycle through his mind due to the topic. his love life was complicated, at best; at worst, it was destructive. loneliness suited him more often than not. ❛ you want to talk about it? giving closure is one of my superpowers, you know.  ❜
