Attack to a Wedding Reception Makes Four Dead and Several Wounded.
On the evening of July 8th, the wedding reception of Lysander Greenberg and Matthew Daehler, two of the students of our very own University, was a to what some describe as a terrorist attack. Police has opened an ongoing investigation on the case, and as such has not leased any information on suspects or reasons behind the attack.
Some witnesses state that everything happened without warning. Smoke grenades were thrown into the ball room where the reception was taking place, and after that there were shots fired. Several people got hit, resulting in the death of four people, and the hospitalization of several other guests. The reception was an open event, and as such it is hard to tell just how many people were present at the time of the attack.
According to some staff members working at the reception, after they heard the shots, they ran away, but it seems that the place where the party was happening was the sole target of this attack.
Due to the smoke, no one was able to identify the attacker. There will be more upcoming interviews with witnesses that were present at the event, and the Ambrose Chronicle will try to contact the hosts of the party in hopes of casting some light into this mystery.
