"It is still good to know. The world can be a cruel place." Alexander said. "But you are luck...I think Agron quit. He hasn't told me, but it feels like it."
"Does he still want to do it? ..... hunt I mean...." Wyatt asked. He knew his more pacifist nature was at odds with the idea of hunting and with how Ennis was as well. He wasn't sure how Agron felt about it now, especially with them getting married.
"Yes. My turn later. I'm going to be making decisions too. I said you wouldn't be making all of them on your own. Besides, I usually am the one that makes the decisions between us." He teased. Yeah, that had become less and less of a thing over the last few years they had been dating for as Wyatt really had stepped up on the decision making from time to time, but Agron still liked to playfully tease him sometimes about it.
Agron raised his brow at Wyatt's question. Did he actually get that wrong about him making an innuendo? Or was his fiancé just messing with him? He wasn't really sure at the moment. There was only one way to find out, though maybe it wasn't a good idea to have this conversion here. Sure they were somewhere private in the restaurant, but they still weren't the only ones here right now. "Sorry. I uh... I'll tell you later. It's...inappropriate." He said the last word in a low enough tone that he assumed only Wyatt could hear. All the while having a loving smile on his face, partly to not make him worry. Although, mainly it was just because he just couldn't help himself right now. Wyatt made him feel the head over heels kind of love for him...and also horniness. Damn, he couldn't wait to go back to his place and spend some fun alone time with him!
"Promise? I don't want to make all the decisions, it's for both of us." He said looking at the other and then nodding when they finally got settled in to their table.
"Inappropriate?" Wyatt said softly to himself trying to work out what Agron might have meant. There were only so many things that Agron got nervous about, especially talking about in public. He eliminated different things slowly until he landed on what he thought had to be the answer. "OH!" He said loudly then getting quiet again he leaned in closer to his fiance. "Do you mean.... sex?" Wyatt asked with a whisper, a blush growing on his cheeks from asking so boldly.

Agron chuckled. "It is. Don't worry. It'll be my turn later." He assured him. When Wyatt made his decision, Agron's smile grew before he leaned down and pecked him on the lips. "See? Food is more your specialty, babe. It's perfect to have you be the one to make decisions on it." He told him before finally moving over to his own chair, though he paused right before sitting down due to being surprised by Wyatt's question, his eyes widening.
"Wait, did you just...?" He trailed off due to figuring that, yes, Wyatt most likely did just make a sexual joke. Either that or he was still in a naughty mood and it was making him make that kind of assumption out of something that was actually innocent. Either way, that's why he shook his head in amusement. "That, along with probably other things." He said before sitting down. Man he couldn't wait to get back to Wyatt's place when this was over.
"Your turn later?" Wyatt asked wondering what Agron would be making a decisions about. The menu wasn't anything extravagant but he knew that they were going to each have their own taste points, creamy, sharp, tart, bitter, herby. Dishes that lent well together would mean one less thing for their guests to think about.
"Did I just what?" He asked looking up at Agron innocently, the human beta hadn't intended to make any type of innuendo at least not knowingly.
"Yes, you are building up muscle. Agron showed me a picture of you. You look skinner." Alexander pointed out. "Fighting is something you develop in time. I'm sure you will be fine."
"I don't really like fighting... I don't like it when Agron does it.. or even when Ennis does it... But I know it's something that happens sometimes because of...things."
"Agron has? That's good of the both of them. It never hurts and I'm sure Agron appreciate the benefits of it." Alexander chuckled, not sure if he would understood the sex joke there.
"Yeah, but I'm not that best but I know a little bit now." He said nodding. "Benefits? I think he's a little less worried about my safety worried now, but only a little bit." Wyatt said humming.
Agron chuckled and shook his head at Wyatt's response. "No. I suppose you can't." He said before he allowed him to take his hand again and begin guiding him. With this being where Wyatt worked, it made sense to Agron to let him take the lead for this. Plus it was just a nice change of pace. Usually Agron had to be the one to lead things. He was interested to see how his fiancé would do in this role. Especially since he himself didn't know what to expect here.
Once they were inside, Agron looked around for a bit. Everything looked the same as the last time he was here. When Theodore first offered the job of managing the waiters to him, Agron had initially accepted in the hopes of gaining at least some kind of restaurant experience as he hadn't forgotten that one day Wyatt had brought up him possibly running the business aspect of his own restaurant. He had ended up changing his mind though as he wasn't sure how Wyatt would feel about them working together under Theodore without first discussing it with him.
Agron pushed those thoughts aside when Wyatt asked his question before walking up to their private table. "Oh no. You're not already passing the decision making off onto me, babe. We just got here." He paused to pull out Wyatt's chair for him right after his fiancé put his coat on the back of it. "Also, between us, you're the chef destined for future greatness. I'm just your super lucky taste tester that sometimes bakes for fun. So what would you recommend we should do first, in your expert opinion?"
"No fair...." Wyatt looked at the other with a pout when he the choice was defaulted back to him. Putting his things on the table he looked down at the pairings and started to read through them. "Fine... Savoury first, since dessert will usually be served after mains." Wyatt said pointing out the natural order and looking around to have someone start getting their plates out
"Lucky taste tester? Is that what your title will be when we get married?" He asked him giggling waiting for him to sit down beside him."
"Yeah. Druids have a certain gift to do some things. Think of like wizards." Alexander said. "But I'm glad he is helping. You are part of this world. You should know how to defend yourself."
"That's cool." Wyatt smiled smiling at that idea. Nodding he agreed with the other. "Ennis and Agron have been training me.. I'm a lot stronger than before."
Agron tried focusing on driving, but having the man he was madly in love with sitting right next to him the entire way there made the task not easy. Especially when his fiancé took his hand. Agron brought up Wyatt's hand to kiss it and then give it a squeeze as he then decided to drive the rest of the way with one hand.
Surprisingly, he managed to get them there just fine. After parking, that's when he had to let go of Wyatt's hand to get out. He walked around the car and moved next to him. "Are you going to ask me if I'm ready for everything we do?" He teasingly asked right before planting a kiss to his right cheek. "Well, I am ready. So..." He paused to give Wyatt's ass a playful smack. "Go ahead and lead the way, beautiful."
"Maybe." Wyatt smiled at the other while they walked in. "I can't make all the decisions on my own." He said taking the other's hand to lead Agron into the restaurant. Luckily Wyatt had managed to get a tasting appointment before the restaurant was open for the day which meant they had the whole place to themselves.
In the restaurant Wyatt went to the front desk and stared get them set up. The testing had been set up as a tasting menu for them, the private table already set up for the pair of them. "Want to do sweet stuff or savoury stuff first?" He asked putting his coat down on the back of the chair.
That statement was troublesome, but Agron nor Wyatt gave the impression that Ennis was manipulating him. "And soon enough you will have us." Alexander leaned back as he listened about Mr. Donatti. "Do you have talent in it? You can do some of the basics without becoming a druid."
"Yeah.." Wyatt answered thinking, if he was getting them, then who would have Ennis. Thoughts of leaving the Alpha never sitting right with him and always making him feel uneasy. "Talent? No, no. He just helps me and gives me some stuff sometimes."
"Probably. It may be similar to a family bond or a brotherhood. I feel a bond with my siblings. Maybe it is like when you fall in love, but in a different manner." He shrugged. He didn't know, but Nasir said it was real so he trusted him. "Who is Mr. Donatti?"
"That's why I say Ennis is my family. He's... the only one I've got really." Wyatt said taking a sip of his drink after and then looking up. "Oh he's uh... what are they called again... uh... a druid. He helps me sometimes when I have questions about things or teaches me about some stuff."
"I wouldn't know either. Nasir has told me there is a bond when you are in a pack, like a feeling that buzzes around in you." Alexander shrugged. "He is very close to his alpha and packmates."
"I'll have to ask Mr.Donatti then... He would know." Wyatt thought about it for a moment and then went back to the conversation. "I think that's the whole point a pack isn't it? Loyalty and connection?"

The way Wyatt spoke about Ennis ran opposite to the man's reputation. It was odd at minimum. "Not that I know of, but I'll ask. I have heard of alphas taking humans as betas before, but you would be my first one. How does it feel?"
"Feel? I dunno... Is it supposed to feel different?" He asked him. Wyatt wasn't really versed in a lot of that world still , he'd learned some stuff from Luca generally. But that was more just around some general knowledge.
Alexander was quite surprised to hear that. He had never met Ennis, but he had heard many things about him. "We have never had pets, so I wouldn't know how that is like, but I imagine it would be like that. He must be very comfortable around you."
"It's like that but bigger and warmer." Wyatt nodded then looked up with the slight confusion on his face. "Nasir doesn't do that?" He asked him. "Of course he is, he's my Alpha after all." Wyatt smiled proudly.
Of all questions, he did not expect that one. "Hm? I don't even know if can do that actually. I'll ask him next time. You have hugged one?" He asked him.
"Yeah. Ennis let's me cuddle him in wolf form loads. His fur is really warm and it's nice and cozy." Wyatt nodded eating nonchalantly as if he wasn't talking about big grumpy shark wolf with a temper.
Alexander looked confused at first, but he got it. "Ah, right. Fair point. Nasir is like the warmest blanket so I get it." He said and grabbed more food himself. "Do you have any questions for me? Like about anything?"
"Does Nasir let you hug him in wolf form too?" Wyatt asked him looking up. "Uh... I don't think so..." The human thought, he did wonder how the whole family thing would work when his family was someone they didn't like. But he didn't think that was proper to ask.
