A year ago today, we were in NYC celebrating Sam’s national Gold Medal in illustration. So, it’s only fitting to acknowledge how awesome Anthony and Raymond are for both getting a national Silver Medal this year in photography! Getting a Scholastic Award when I was a senior was the first time I was acknowledged outside of my family/social circle as an artist. The fact that my kids are being acknowledged nationally as in the top 1% of student artists in the country blows my mind. They are so amazing! Also, it’s similarly crazy to me that I get to have my own award and medal for being their teacher. 😍 #scholasticartawards #goldkey #hfascs (at Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies)

My dad found one of the best gifts that I’ve ever received the last time he was home - all of the work that I produced in my first year of Media Productions with Jeff. I brought it in to show my kids today. I’m pretty in my emotions about it. The cycle continues.
