Fic concept: Sick Fic where Chai is coming down with smth that isn’t serious but he gets put on bed rest against his wishes anyway. Peer pressured into taking a sick day because he might be contagious. Get quarantined, idiot.(/lh)

He’s on the couch, bored out of his mind while all his friends are at work. He’d practice his guitar to entertain himself but he’s been doing that for the past two hours. He needs enrichment in his enclosure.

808 jumps onto the couch from where she’s been a lovely audience member and curls up by his side to keep him company while he sulks. She’d stayed behind instead of going with Peppermint to keep him from losing his mind and her presence has helped.

He sits there with gears turning in his brain almost audibly as he pets 808. Then the lightbulb goes off.

He may be stuck here resting so he can get better, but 808 can come and go as she pleases! He asks her if she’s down for some adventures and she nods excitedly.

He gets to experience the world vicariously through 808 and she is more than happy to indulge his need for shenanigans. They have the best day ever.
