hello everyone! we hope you’ve all been doing well and staying healthy. we all know that things are rather chaotic right now, given all that’s happening in the world and that some people need some space and time to breathe.

that being said, we will not be doing an activity check until April 5th. please take this time to spend with your loved ones and reply on the dash when you can. if you don’t think you will stay with us during this time, please let us know so that we can keep the main updated as needed.

on April 5th, anyone who is at the 5 days mark will be put on the activity check, so bear this in mind. if you know you will not be active during that time, please remember to fill out our hiatus request form and submit it to us. 

as always, your admin team is here to help you however we can, so feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

hello everyone! we’re just one day shy of being open for one week! first off, we want to thank all of you for working so hard to make this RP what it is and gaining the interest that it did. we had our concerns in the beginning, but we’re so happy to see it well received and continuing to earn interest. 

with our first activity check pending for tomorrow, just a reminder of the activity as stated in the rules: we will be doing an activity check whenever someone hits five days. if you bring in a new muse, they have 48 hours to post before being put on an unfollow. if you are posting once every five days, you will get a warning. if it continues, you will be put on an immediate unfollow. to the muses who were accepted yesterday, we will not be posting an unfollow if you do not get something up in 48 hours. you will just have the five days. please be mindful of your activity and please remember you can always reach out to us if there is something going on.

secondly, please make sure that you are following the Hwang Geum Community Centre blog! this blog will be where events and memes are posted. if you have a meme that you’d like to see on the dash, you can submit ideas to this blog! 

we are also now opening HG Online, which is the community’s gossip blog. please make sure you read the rules before submitting things to be posted here. to the community, they won’t know who is operating this online forum and will remain completely anonymous in all its gossip and posts.

we also have added a Wanted Connections app on our app page, so if you have connections that you would like for your muse, please fill out the form and submit it to us. you can keep track of any wanted connections using the tag hg:wc

Hello everyone! We hope you've been enjoying your time in Hwang Geum so far...if you have not, please let us know so we can make sure it's a good experience for you. 

The reason for this message today, is sadly not for anything good. It's already come to our attention that people are only messaging others for romantic and shipping plots, leaving others high and dry and essentially ghosting them because their muse won't ship with them. I don't think I need to point out we are not a ship-based RP and no one should be ghosted or spoken to rudely because they won't ship with you. There are other connections beyond a ship, and we get that it can be difficult sometimes to think of something but we can help with ideas outside of ships, if people really need that. If you're only here for a ship and nothing more, that's not fair as people are likely going to be on an activity check because others won't plot with them or have ghosted them. Please don't leave people on read for plotting. Again, it's not fair and I can't imagine anyone enjoys having to be on the receiving end of it. If you are only here for ships, then quite frankly, Hwang Geum might not be the place for you as again, we are not a ship based RP.

hello everyone! opening day is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited. first off, i want to thank my admin team for doing such an amazing job while i was travelling because truly, without Admin Stitches and Admin Mabel, we would not be here right now so make sure you send them lots of love!

secondly, i want to thank you! as Admin Mabel mentioned yesterday, we appreciate all the love and support you have given us and bypassing our goal of 15 apps and currently sitting at 26 apps!! 

just a reminder that the inbox will temporarily be closed at 1PM EST to allow Admin Stitches to complete any last minute graphics. The next acceptance will be on TUESDAY, MARCH 10TH. 

at 2PM EST, we will start to post the bios and as a reminder, this does not mean we are open just yet, but just giving everyone a chance to start following each other. please also read the rules over once more to refresh yourselves before we begin.

at the time we begin to start posting apps, we will also be sending you links to join the OOC Discord. it is completely up to you if you wish to join. official opening will be at 3PM EST.
