clubbing encounters | Jaehwan & Mark
Yien smiled as he walked around his establishment, bobbing his head to the blaring music that played, he couldn’t be more content with the way everything was turning out, it seemed like everyday the crowds just grew bigger than the night before. He begun seeing familiar faces that soon became regulars, his idea of playing american music and only hiring those who were bilingual was really working, the club was filled with an vast array of people, all different in their own way coming together for the music.
Mark grabbed himself a drink, what’s a club night without a good drink in hand? He grinned to himself as he stood far into the corned of the place, casually sipping and observing everything, to those he encountered he just looked like another customer, there for the music, drink and of course the girls but that wasn’t case, leaving his place felt very irresponsible to him and he knew many back home expected him to fail at managing the club.
His eyes were drawn to a tall, foreign looking male who he’d seen very often in the past couple weeks, he also just seemed familiar, like he’d seen him on tv.. or the newspapers.. or even on the street, the male just seemed like someone he’d already seen outside the club. Mustering the courage to walk up to him, Tuan adjusted his perfectly tailored suit, grabbing another drink as he walked past the bar.
Walking up to strangers was completely out of his character but he had nothing to lose. Taking small drinks until he reached the man, “He what’s up man” he said almost shouting with a friendly smile, at the same time realizing how awkward his korean was, “My name is Mark” he continued before watching the males reaction to his sudden introduction.
