just a few days ago, she realised that she had run out of pretty much everything in her house. her refrigerator was empty and so was the fruit basket that always seemed to have an endless supply of bananas. work and gigs had taken a huge amount of her time that she hadn’t had the opportunity to do some grocery shopping in a while. seeing that she had this saturday free of her usual schedule, she decided that she had and she must get her shopping done by today.
as she was pushing her cart down the aisle, her attention was captured by a certain shopper who was about a good ten feet away, browsing cereals. yuji, who always had an appreciation for all things beautiful, was immediately caught in a trance-like spell, eyes glued to the tall, foreign-looking male before her. she especially loved the way his brows would furrow as he compared one item with another, and how he’d never look back after regretfully putting a pricey product back on the shelf. it was rather adorable actually. before long, she became too distracted to even finish checking off the things on her shopping list.
