Scrap-let of the comic. Not an actual part of it, just a one-off thing to help me practice. Taking a lot of inspiration from those newspaper-comic-formats, it helps! Therr on the beach. He doesn’t seem to enjoy it much. It’s in Dutch. (I do not apologise. It is my mother-tongue, after all) Translated, it reads: Panel 1, Therr looking angrily at the sand, letting it slide between his fingers. “I HATE this beach.” Panel 2, Therr shakes the sand off of him, violently. Very dog-like. “There’s sand everywhere, even in my shoes!” Panel 3, Therr looks at the viewer, holding up an old shoe that must’ve washed ashore. He looks visibly upset, leaning on his other arm for balance. “And I don’t even HAVE shoes!”
