I JUST FINISHED THE BBH HH VOD FROM YESTERDAY AND IM FREAKING OUT AND LISTENING TO SODA POP FOR SOME REASON-
I’m so normal about them. :D
The cliff hanger ending amhaevdmjawbd,javdkjavd,AjdbmJscb. THE REVEALLLL. I started crying-
after months and months of the siblings keeping their secret. Pomme dropping the occasional hint, and all the struggle of seeing their dad do all of this without being able to tell him.
and then Bad. Who didn’t even know whether or not his children were even alive. Only to find out that they were with him the whole time.
Bad’s realization hitting him at the exact moment Pomme says “Hi, dad”
Every memory. All the times Bad was doing something with his “roommates” only to think back to his children that he left behind. The whole reason why he wanted the inheritance in the first place. Was to get back to them.
He was blinded by his sheer love and determination to get back to his kids, that he couldn’t notice all the obvious signs. Or maybe a part of him did notice, but he didn’t want to believe. He didn’t want to get his hopes up, only to be let down. So why let those feelings surface in the first place? The feelings still lingered though. As if a part of him still believed or thought that Lumi and Shade could be his kids. He made sure to keep them close, deciding that even if they weren’t his kids, they reminded him so much of them, and their company was something he loved.
and maybe sometimes, just before he was going to sleep, he would think that Pomme would’ve acted a lot like Lumi if she were older. Or that Dapper would’ve adored all the cool stuff Shade does.
Even though after months, he got rather comfortable with the company of all his roommates, Bad was still set on finding his kids. No matter what it took. But he grew rather fond of the siblings. And after a while, he treated them like family.
AND THEN THE REVEAL AFTER HE THOUGHT HIS COMPASS WASNT WORKING AND IM SORRY BUT I CANT DO THE DRAMATIC WRITING ANYMORE IM FREAKING OUT. THE CINEMAAAAAA
Anywho, Dapper and Pomme keeping them close secret for that long was kind of crazy and it must’ve hurt them like crazy too. The lore isn’t done and we still have stuff to learn, like:
why is Shade’s eyes green? How did Shade and Lumi “crash land” there in the first place?? WHO IS THE WEIRD MALNOURISHED HALO GUY?!? and why in the world is Dapper and Pomme not with Bad in the realm.
I already know that the angst is going to destroy me in the future (tmrw probs idk)
