okay tbh idky ive been following you for however long i have because i dont watch shadowhunters but i kept seeing that shit on my dash so i gave in and then i saw that it was based on a book series and now im halfway through city of ash and i gotta know if u read the series bc i need someone to talk about this with and i dont think the show portrays the characters at all like the books?? the books are so much better omg (no hate but still kinda hate how dare they do jace dirty like that)

i’m the wrong person boo boo.. i hated the books. i hated everyone btu sizzy and magnus. i hated alec, and i hated jace, i hated clary and most of the characters. i actually enjoy the show bc i like the different approach they took. for example, i hate book malec but show malec is everything
