H-H-O-T-T

It’s hot.  Like really hot.  The sign at the bank near our house read 103 degrees.  I went to spin this morning, meaning I was due for 4 miles this evening. No, thank you!

I opted to run on the treadmill instead.  4 miles/35:15/8:47  I had a side cramp the whole time, so I was happy to just get it done.

I am studying photography and have been practicing for a good three years now. Have attended various photoshoots, have recently been to LND fashion week. So no, I didnt just buy an expensive camera. What Im trying to say is that if you take one snapshot, which everyone can do, that doesn't suddenly make you a fashion photographer. Even my teachers say that until you understand the basics of photography, you cant truly call yourself a photographer.

uh I was agreeing with you. I wasn't implying that you were one of those people but rather expressing my distaste that those people exist.The idea that you can't be a photographer without understanding the basics of photography sorta goes without saying...

Ive tried to read them, but haven't managed to get through them because they are crappy. Nope, not trying to be patronising at all, just posting my opinion. Fair enough if you think I sounded elitist, that wasn't the impression I was trying to get across.

Yeah, I can see that now by how you're talking here. :)

To be honest, I found the first few books really tiring to reread. The newer books are a lot better in quality, because they're aimed at an older audience.

In response to your comment on my Harry Potter book post. I don't have an elitist stick in my ass and I think its unnecessary to say that. I don't like the books, they are simple and for 12 year olds. I don't understand peoples obsession with them. Fair enough if you like them, but I think its dismal when people only read HP and don't branch out a bit.

Sorry, I'm in a grumpy mood and it was completely unfair of me to be so rude. I apologise for that.

However, you also said that you haven't read the books since. While I also haven't read the books in years, I don't understand how you could have fair judgement on them if it's been some time since you read them. Human memory is most certainly not reliable. Also, your word choice did come across as very elitist and...condescending? Patronising? Not sure which word I'm looking for right now. You may not have intended to sound like that, but you definitely did in my eyes.
