*to the tune of The Jax Song* Have you heard of Loop? They are quite the scamp. When it comes to mischief, mirth, and violence, they're the champ. Nothing is their home. They have a lot of friends. They go on adventures and the fun it never ends. Then they go to House. The Universe has packed their lunch. They have lots of stars, they're so doomed in time, munch munch munch. Loop sits down at tree. Today it's a test. They get all the questions right because Loop is the best. And then Loop meets me. Because I am there. I look quite like them but I am human with white hair. I become their friend. They think I am cute. I go back from House, and also Loop has a treehouse. We hit each other, kinda just for fun. And we watch the stars while they poke me right on the glove. Then we go to bed. We're in the same bed. I don't mind that much because I trust Loop, they're my friend. I can feel their sparks. Why do I feel warm? I feel something I don't think I've ever felt before. The next loop in time. Me and Loop don't talk. I don't even see them on the normal root they sit. I give them a wave. Their smile turns to a frown. Suddenly my heart feels cold and dead and sad and grey. After the loops break. Loop does not show up. Everything still smells like them, what happened on that day? Now I'm forty-two. I live with Mal du Pays. I don't really care for it, I think I hate my life. Now I work at Gregg's. I miss them every day. Sometimes I pretend Mal du Pays's Loop, I might be gay.
