Scout has a very difficult time channeling her emotions, she always seems to do the wrong action for the wrong emotion (I.E. when she’s sad she’ll get violent but when she’s angry she’ll be perfectly quiet)

When Scout is sad she’ll fuck up everything in her room, smash furniture, walls, her own hands, she just doesn’t understand how to cope properly (She learns better eventually) She’s so incredibly self destructive and she hates herself for it. She'll look at the carnage she produced and feel angry at herself, she has heavy and engie and demo help clean her room, help fix what she broke, that always helps.

As for Heavy dealing with old trauma: the short answer is, he kinda doesn’t, the long answer is he always bottles things up inside himself, he never knows who to trust and sometimes he’s afraid his own teammates would use things against him should they know more about him, about the gulag, about the little bird he used to love, his own father’s death, the fact that every relationship he had prior to the team was destructive and manipulative.

He gets better. As old age becomes closer, Heavy learns to open up more (first being to Medic, Scout, and Demo imho) and it’s so difficult for him to open up, some days he’s quiet, others like a floodgate opening and there’s always someone there to listen.
