It’s been a while since the second years team and the third years team split up to look for the missing members of Kanamin Kitchen. But along the way, the third years team ran across two paths. Right and left. After talking for a moment and got word from Rise saying that both paths should lead to the same place, everyone agreed to split up and go on both paths. That way they would have a better chance on finding any of the missing idols. Yosuke, Chie and Yukiko went to the right path while Yu and Raidon will be going on the left path. 

Reason why he pick this team was because of the last dance Yukiko had and Raidon was her partner. He thought he saw her slip up towards the end. However, not wanting to say anything in front of the group about this and embarrassed the shadow operative. Once they were alone, the world’s hero said to the other. 

“Let me know when you need a break, Rai. I thought you were going to trip moments ago when you were dancing with Yukiko.”
