“Yes,” Momiji mumbled, allowing the blanket to be tugged down from where he had pulled it over his head. He’d pulled another disappearing act, this time only missing for a day and a half before he returned to the main house, transformed into his zodiac form and seemingly unable to recover himself. “You were right.”
Still, he just lay where he was, staring boredly at the wall. It took a few minutes before he said anything else, and when he did, his voice was quiet.
“I’m sorry for leaving again. I needed a break.”
