“Nah! That’s fine.” She said. “Although I’m kinda impressed, genuinely. You can’t make shitty hearts.” And indeed, hers weren’t so great. “But you can do cranes. But yeah, decorate it as you wish. That’s fine. You’re tryin! And he’ll, in some ways doing better than me!” She laughed heartily, she was having fun.
"Are you sure you can't make shitty hearts?" he asked as he showed her a previous attempt he had done. it's was skinny and the cuts were shaky. He wasn't very good with scissors... Maybe from never really using some much. "Perhaps I should have folded the paper before attempting to cut the heart... but then you get a seam in the middle..." The subtle art of crafting hearts was one that required finesse it seemed if you wanted to go freehand.
"But i'm glad you like my cranes! I can do flowers too! Like irises and roses. Once you know what folds to do, you can't really mess it up. It doesn't require free handed skills." He wonders if he should attempt to put glitter on his little creations. he's heard horror stories of that stuff getting everywhere.
