Daisy was getting fed up with having to obey the Institute rules as she worked; usually she got full operational discretion from her workplace. She understood that they wanted to know about the Stranger’s ritual as much as they wanted to take action (she couldn’t see the advantages of such academics) but this was dragging on. She was glad she only had to pop into this dank place between her Hunts.
“This is all you’ve learnt?” she asked, raising an unimmpressed eyebrow at the taller man. She’d been gone for days but it felt like they’d done nothing.

Ah. Right. Yes.
People don’t like it when you do that, when a hand is held out for a customary handshake or you know, the occasional duties of a lover, hand holding, it is frowned upon to drop a dollop of hand sanitizer on the center of their palm.
Offensive even, Sasha had once told him.
Although, she did rub her hands together unlike Tim, who had flung it back into his face.
Fair, really.
He laughed, nervous by his own actions. Jon ran his fingers through his hair as he muttered an apology. It’s a habit, really. One that he is actively working on and honestly, Martin should be glad it was a good a scent at least. Not too much as well. It’s dreadful when there’s too much. Then your skin dries out and to carry lotion on top of the many bottles of hand sanitizer he already carried is a chore at that point.
“Should we try that again?” he asked, made a show of putting the bottle away. His hands help up high to show restraint.
Because he can do this. Really.
