I think weight loss is a MUCH more common side effect than weight gain. Itâs SO unlikely, and if unmanageable depression has contributed to weight gain I really doubt the net effect due to the Welbutrin alone could be negative. Give it a chance :)
Oh, I know. I am giving it a chance :)
When I was first prescribed it and research it though I had a bit of a meltdown... maybe a little more than a bit now that I think about it...
But I am taking it.
I'm just curious - if you wouldn't mind, could you elaborate on why you don't want to become a licensed therapist? Is it that the license places restrictions on your creativity, that you don't agree with the "establishment" views on mental health, that the formal education process wouldn't be worth it, or...?
I donât need to have a fancy title to do what I wanna do.
I wanna help people through movement⌠I can find creative ways to do what I want the way I want. I donât agree with a lot of the theories taught (even in movement therapy) and Iâve always liked a  more holistic approach rather than medical.Â
I donât care about the money either⌠and by doing this, it becomes more affordable for people. A dance class geared around kids with special needs with a specific goal would give kids the therapeutic value of dance but without being in a therapy setting.
Plus I couldn't/can't do school... it's such a huge trigger for me and there's just way too much stress.
