There’s been a countless number of times where I’ll just lie on my bed with my face buried in the blankets and I’ll just be chanting to myself “I want to go home, I want to go home” (x20 times)

That’s lead me to the belief that the concept of ‘home’ doesn’t exist on the physical plane, but rather it’s an emotional state. We just associate the idea of ‘home’ with our own house or shelter since that’s the place where we are able to feel the most comfortable and can truly be ourselves without fear of societal judgement. I believe that ‘home’ refers to a state of mind; a state of contentment and fulfillment where stress and anxieties cease to exist. A state of happiness, if you will.

One day, I want to go home.
