I really miss this creative spirit, awesome teammate, intern, helpful, understanding, hardworking young lady, who just happens to be my first born! We had big goals to shoot our first feature length film together this summer. Though we failed to do that in the window we planned, together we learned so much about the business and worked for 10 production days with some really talented actors and actresses! short film vs feature length> this is proving to be the challenge unlike any other as I rewrite, and make serious choices that will determine the new direction of the film. Every challenge I've experienced in the making of short films has gotten bigger more intense and honestly tougher to get over. I don't know if it's unique to me because of my level of experience, lack of knowledge in one area or another, budget concerns, production & location logistics, etc., Maybe this just comes with the territory in our small film production firms growth. Perhaps it's just not going to be easy... Point blank. None the less, the newest rewrite of the Master script feels strong... Very strong.
