It's a joke at first but it lowkey starts to stick with you both. Uhhhh kind of. Fluff fluff fluff
Imagine dating Morro okay okay stay with me now
He's cool whatever, your super hot boyfriend you can't get enough of, but you also love to tease him. It starts out as a joke. You see him in the kitchen, grabbing a snack after training and you grin wide.
"Hey, pookie bear." The stupidly sweet and embarrassing name rolls off your tongue so easily it could have been second nature. "Can I have some?"
Morro looks at the measly sandwich he'd cut in half and took a seat at the table. Then he pauses, brows knitting. "What the hell did you just call me?"
Your grin only widens and Morro knows then that you're about to stir some trouble. "Nothing. Can I have a bite?" Of course, how could the Master of Wind say no to you, his goddess of a girlfriend. One bite turns into two, then two into three, and suddenly you've eaten half the sandwich.
Morro isn't bothered (at least tries not to be) because you do this a lot. It's expected. "Are you hungry?" He's studying you like one would a starved animal. "I thought you already ate."
All you do is shake your head and stand, pecking him on the lips. "Nope. Thanks, pookie bear."
"What the fuck did--"
"I forgot I was gonna help Nya with something." You wave, slipping down the hall before Morro can get another word in. He would chase you, but right now, he needs the tiny half of his sandwich he had yet to finish.
First Spinjitzu Master. What was that all about?
Morro thinks to himself that whatever got a hold on you will vanish by the next sunrise. You obviously had fixations throughout the day, so surely you'd stop being possessed.
Right?
Wrong.
You're both training in the courtyard like every free afternoon, sparring and riling each other up for fun. It's a dance, one you've never failed to miss a step in.
"I don't think anyone's winning." You say, giving your wooden staff a spin. "How about we take a break? I'm starving, and my arms are sore."
Morro gives his own staff a longing look before meeting your eyes. There's a sparkle behind them despite your heavy breathing and messy hair. It's stuck to your sweaty face and you look oh so adorable. He leaned over, pecking you on the lips. "Alright, I don't see why not."
"Thanks, pookie bear."
Morro stiffens and this time he's clocking you. Leaning over until you're nearly chest to chest, staring defiantly into your sparkling eyes.
"Okay, what is with you and calling me that?" His cheeks were reddening and it makes you bite your lip to keep from laughing. "The hell is a pookie bear? Stop calling me that, it's..."
"Embarrassing?" You say, a laugh finally slipping past your lips. "But isn't it cute if I'm calling you a name? That's what Jay and Nya do."
"Well, we're not Jay and Nya." Morro snarkily notes. He looks like a little kid as he folds his arms, averting his gaze to the side as you drape yourself over him to keep from collapsing into your howls of laughter.
"Stop laughing." Morro is aggressively shaking your shoulders with a grunt but it's not doing much to stop you. "Just call me something else, anything but that, (Y/n)."
His plea falls on deaf ears. Since that day, you continue calling him that without regret. Pookie bear can you hand me this. Pookie bear I miss you. Pookie bear, can I get a hug?
Morro wants to stay irritated, but it's hard when your grin just lights up his world. Still. He was going to teach you a lesson.
"Hey." Morro is closing the distance as you enter your shared room. "You took forever showering, pookie bear."
You stare for the longest time, eyes wide, heart thrumming against your chest. Morro is leaning against the wall, arms crossed as he stares down at you through his dark hair. Urgh, your boyfriend can't just say that while looking so damn cool.
It all falls apart as soon as you grin. Morro stiffens, brows furrowing as you drape your arms over his shoulders with a laugh. "I thought I'd never see the day you'd call me that."
"Urgh. You're supposed to be embarrassed." Morro groans, burying his face in your neck with a huff. It's all he can do to keep the redness from spreading up his neck. "(Y/n), what is wrong with you? Calling me names like this."
All you can do is laugh and kiss his forehead. "You're so adorable when you're embarrassed."
