narancia becoming a child of a divorce every time you and bruno bucciarati argue ˚.✦

Narancia doesn’t remember a time where you and Bruno weren’t dating, when he talked with Bruno for the first time, you were there, sharing a meal with Bruno as he talked with you before telling Narancia to go back to his dad’s. You were there when Bruno visited him in the hospital, you even brought a little bouquet of purple flowers and obviously, you were there when he was welcomed on the team. You have a stand too, a pretty lilac and green stand and you help on the missions more than Narancia had imagined for a woman.

You and Bruno were the first people (Fugo too) that were nice to him after a long time, so how could he not get attached? You showed him around the house, taught him how to cook basic things and easy fight movies and Bruno taught him about strategy and other things. He looks up to both of you, almost seeing you as idol figures. 

So when you and Bruno fight, he’s a mess!

It started over something stupid, like usual. Bruno wanted the team to hit up this old warehouse at midnight for some recon on a rival group, all serious and planned out like always. You thought it was too risky without more info and wanted to wait until morning, maybe scope it out with your Stand first. One minute you two were talking calmly in the kitchen, the next both of you had that scary-calm voice you only used when you were really mad.

And poor Narancia was stuck right in the middle, sitting at the table with a half-eaten sandwich in his hands like it was a shield.

“Narancia,” Bruno said, turning to him with a gentle look. “You know the night gives us better cover. Come with me, we’ll do a quick sweep and be back before anyone notices.”

You crossed your arms and gave Narancia the softest smile, the one that always made him feel like everything was gonna be okay. “Don’t listen to him, Nara. It’s way smarter to wait. You and I can go grab some gelato after we check the place out properly tomorrow. Sounds good?”

“You’re playing dirty there,” Bruno snaps at you, clicking his tongue and rolling his eyes. “You can’t bribe him with food!”

“I can do whatever the fuck I want, amore. You know my plan is better than you,” you snap back, crossing your arms across your chest.

“Don’t amore me now. And don’t curse in front of the kid,” Bruno said sharply. 

You huffed and tilted your chin up, looking every bit as stubborn as your boyfriend. “He’s heard worse on missions, Bruno. You’re the one acting like a baby because I won’t just nod and follow your lead this time.”

Narancia’s eyes went wide, flicking back and forth between you two like he was watching a really intense tennis match. 

His brain basically short-circuited. On one side, Bruno, the guy who taught him how to think three steps ahead and always made him feel strong. On the other, you, who let him blast music way too loud in the car and gave the best hugs after rough days.

Bruno stepped closer to you with a serious face. “My plan is safer for the team. Nighttime, less chance of running into civilians or rival scouts. Narancia knows that. Right, Narancia?”

“I-I, uh…” He scratched the back of his head. “Well, Bruno’s right about the cover and stuff but… gelato does sound kinda fire.”

Bruno raised an eyebrow. “Narancia.”

You tilted your head, looking all cute and hopeful. “Naranciaaa.”

He let out a tiny squeak and slid down in his chair until only his eyes peeked over the table. “This is worse than when Fugo makes me do math homework! Why you gotta put me in the middle like this? I’m just one guy!”

You and Bruno both stared at him. Then at each other. The tension cracked just a tiny bit when you snorted and Bruno let out a long sigh, rubbing the back of his neck.

“See what you did?” Bruno muttered, but his voice was softer now. “You turned him into a nervous wreck.”

“I turned him? You’re the one dragging him out at midnight like some strict dad,” you shot back, but you were smiling a little too.

“Enough, enough!” Narancia says, jumping from his chair and shaking his hands in front of his face. “Stop fighting, please. I hate this!”

You sigh and look at Bruno, who gave you a look back and decided to leave the argument behind. “Alright, we can end the argument if you like,” he tells you, pressing his lips on a tight line.

“Hm, yeah, whatever,” you say reluctantly.

“You guys aren’t even hugging yet,” he mumbled, voice all small and pouty. “That’s not how it works. You’re supposed to say sorry and then kiss and be all gross like usual.”

You raised an eyebrow, trying not to smile. Bruno just blinked, clearly surprised by the sudden attitude.

Narancia put his hands on his hips, looking determined even though his cheeks were turning pink. “Bruno, you gotta say her plan is smart too. And you,” he pointed at you with a serious finger, “have to stop calling him a baby even if he’s acting like one. Come on!”

He stepped between the two of you, grabbing one of Bruno’s hands and one of yours, then tried to push them together. “See? Hold hands. Now say nice stuff. Please? For me?”

The pout on his face was lethal. Big golden eyes looking up at both of you, lower lip jutted out, hair messy from all the stressing. He even gave a tiny sniffle for extra effect. You felt it hit you first, he was just so stupidly adorable trying to play peacemaker. Bruno must have felt it too because his expression melted instantly, the stern lines around his eyes softening into something warm.

“Dio mio, Narancia…” Bruno mutters, massaging the bridge of his nose. He finally let his fingers entwine with yours. “I’m sorry, bella, truly. Your plan is as good as mine, you always have good ideas.”

You smile against Bruno’s shoulder. “And I’m sorry for getting snippy. Nighttime might have been okay too. We can figure it out together like always.”

Narancia made a happy little noise. “Yay! See? That wasn’t so hard. Now you gotta kiss so it’s official.”

Bruno laughed quietly and leaned over to press a quick and sweet kiss to your lips right there. Narancia cheered like he’d just won a whole mission by himself.

“You’re such a little manipulator,” you teased, ruffling his hair.

My biggest hopes with this pllotline are:

One of the classic ninja parents pulls up, if even for just a brief cameo. (preferrably Maya if we wanna go back and maybe resolve some of that Seabound stuff between Nya and Maya)

They GOTTA acknowledge the fact that Frak and Arin were friends as kids, and Arin's parents had to have known Reginald, maybe a "long time no see" or something. Make them closer? Make Reginald maybe more avoidant, because he doesn't like the idea of them seeing a more vulnerable side of himself? Idk.

Where's Frak's mom? Can she pull up?

Give me ALL the juxtaposition between "dad who feels moved to change himself for the benefit of his son" and "parents who feel moved to change their daughter for the benefit of themselves."

I know this plot is gonna end by episode 14 cus most of the interesting ideas end or happen by the 4th episode of a DR installment (Kai and Nya return in s1e4, Jay v. Nya in s2e14, Arin and Sora abandon Ras in s3e14, Jay gets his memories back in s4e4) but y'know I CAN STILL HOPE IT'S GOOD...

I highly doubt the Imperium parents would be redeemed cus we do see them hiding their Loyalist gear on them before making it to the Monastery but just in case, let's NOT redeem them!

you know what people say, right? ignorance is bliss. and in this case, it's the fattest blessing in the world.

you really thought jotaro would've caught a whiff of star platinum's antics by now, but he seems completely oblivious to everything taking place behind his back.

to say jotaro's stand likes you a little too much would be an understatement. when you are face to face with jotaro, star immediately manifests next to him to give you a heartwarming wave. but things get a lot worse once jotaro walks away.

you don't know how big star platinum's range is, but it certainly must be pretty darn big if he manifests close to you almost everywhere. you live close to him, so your house is the stand's usual destination.

he just pops up without a warning, often in the most inconvenient times for you, just to present you some beautiful rocks that he found with a determined little smile on his face, like a cat delivering a dead mouse to its owner thinking that it brought back some kind of trophy.

"wow, star! those are... super nice!" you told him every single time, trying your absolute best to sound cheerful as he laid the stones on your desk, urging you to take them.

after putting them all in a box you purposefully bought to store all of the small trinkets star brought you every time he dropped by, the stand would give you a small headpat before disappearing.

sometimes he appears just in time before you trip somewhere, wrapping one of his strong arms around your waist to help you regain your balance, or just when something's about to slip from your hands, catching it moments before it hits the ground and makes a mess.

when you're studying, star will phase through the window just to drop a small snickers bar on your test and give you a big 'thumbs-up' befor returning to its user.

star platinum is somehow everywhere all the damn time for everything.

at first you thought that he was behaving like this simply because you're a fellow stand user, but when you found out that stands never treat anyone else other than their user with such care, you soon gave up on your initial assumption.

so what could it be?

the only reasonable explanation you could come up with was that, since stands are a manifestation of one's soul, jotaro has to have feelings for you.

a guy like him using his stand to flirt with you rather than doing it himself was expected. the only time you'd ever interact with jotaro was during team projects and rarely after lectures. also, you're convinced he walks with a stick up his ass the whole time. that guy is emotionally constipated.

or so you thought.

"i like you," were the words that he casually whispered to you just a moment ago. you're sitting in the auditorium, the far back row, as your professor yaps about the genetic adaptation of corals.

you should've gotten suspicious when jotaro chose to sit suspiciously close to you this morning. he's usually the type of person to leave room for jesus when sitting next to someone.

you turn your head a little too fast, only to find him already looking at you, his head propped up on his fist, notes written in cursive in front of him long forgotten. but the way he played with his pen gave away the nerves he was trying his hardest to conceal.

"yeah, i sorta figured..." you let out an awkward chuckle and rub your temple with your pencil.

jotaro's angular eyebrows shift upwards slightly, confusion coloring his features. "what do you mean? i don't think i've given you any signs until now..." he says, more to himself rather than you as he returns to looking forward. he brings his pen to his mouth this time, biting down on its edge with his teeth.

you try to cover up a snort with your hand. "so you're telling me that sending your stand to hang out with me every single day is not a good enough sign for you?"

jotaro blue-screens, seizing all movements instantly. his pen stays hitched between his teeth. he isn't even blinking. you wave a hand in front of his face. "earth to jotaro. anyone home?"

he clears his throat at that, finally returning to reality. "you... you mean star has been..." he can't bring himself to finish his sentence and he's trying to look anywhere but you.

"yeah... i'm not complaining though. it was pretty fun imagining you trying to court me through a literal killing machine."

jotaro slumps forward, forehead burried in his arm. then, after a long silence, his head rolls sideways, hair sliding away from his face. he turns just enough to look over with tired eyes.

"god, that's embarrassing," he murmurs. only then do you notice the tips of his ears that are burning red.

"well, i wouldn't call it 'embarrassing', just innovative, if you will." your attempt to lighten the mood of the conversation fails as jotaro dangerously lifts an eyebrow at your remark. you lift your hands as a sign of surrender, lips pursed.

"anything you want to share with the rest of us, kujo? or are your words reserved only for your seatmate?" the professor's strict tone makes jotaro straighten his posture.

"sorry, professor," he says with a tone that doesn't really make him sound like he's sorry.

as soon as he turns to his boring presentation again, joatro sighs. "i like you too, by the way," you whisper close to his ear, in the same casual tone he used a few minutes ago.

"ah-" the sound comes out soft, before he can stop to think about it. he looks away immediately, elbow resting against the wood as his hand comes up to hold the side of his face. he shuts his eyes briefly, visibly trying to recover.

you lean closer to him, giving his a playful nudge on the shoulder. star platinum might truly be the best wingman out there.

a/n: i don't really know if i'm good with oneshots. i feel like my writing tends to get repetitive and pretty boring for whoever's reading. if you guys have any tips on how to improve, i would greatly appreciate it! (⌒▽⌒)

jotaro kujo and you hate each other, but your stands can't stop making out ˚.✦

It’s extremely awkward. And it happens every goddamn time. Your personality and Jotaro’s tend to clash, he’s too nonchalant and stoic, never caring about anything and you feel things too deeply and worry too much about people you barely know. And both of you have an attitude problem, so the discussions are long, heated and filled with shouting and stupid arguments. 

There’s a tiny problem, though. Every time you two fight, your stands appear behind your back and it takes them two seconds to start kissing each other. It makes no fucking sense, right? The first time that happened you spent a full minute looking at your stands just heavily making out in front of your faces, not daring to look at each other for embarrassment. 

When they stopped (after two minutes, minimum), you and Jotaro stared at each other. The shouting came back, this time about which one of them was guilty of making your stands kiss. And they came back, Star Platinum catching your stand’s lips, hands on her hips as she played with his hair. 

It took you three arguments to finally understand what the fuck was happening. 

Your stands were so in love it was sickening, the worst version of third wheeling you could ever imagine. 

Your Stand and Star Platinum were tangled up behind you, not full-on making out anymore but definitely not letting go either. She had her arms looped around his neck, forehead pressed to his, while he kept one massive hand on her lower back, the other gently brushing a strand of ethereal hair from her face. It was soft. Way too soft. And gross in a cute way.

You couldn’t stop staring at the floor. Jotaro was doing the same, arms crossed so tight his knuckles were probably white under those gloves. The silence stretched until it got unbearable.

You cleared your throat. “This is... disgusting.”

“Yeah,” he muttered. “They’re acting like idiots.”

Your stand let out a happy little sigh and nuzzled closer to Star Platinum’s chest. He responded by tilting his head down and pressing the softest kiss to the top of her head. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

You shifted your weight from one foot to the other. “They’re so in love it’s actually making me nauseous. Look at them. They’re practically glowing.”

Jotaro grunted in agreement, but he didn’t look up. “Every single time we try to argue, it turns into this.”

You bit your lip, then forced the words out before you could chicken out. “Isn’t a stand... you know, a representation of your own psychic energy? Like, it’s basically a part of your soul or whatever. So if they’re doing all this...”

You trailed off, finally glancing at him. Jotaro’s eyes snapped up to yours, wide for half a second before he slammed the stoic mask back on. But you saw it. That flicker of pure panic.

“No,” he said flatly. Too fast. “There’s no way.”

You nodded way too quickly, relief and denial mixing together in your chest. “Exactly. No way. That would mean... that we...”

You both went quiet again. Behind you, Star Platinum murmured ora and your stand giggled, before kissing him on the corner of his mouth. The sound made your face burn hotter.

You rushed to fill the silence. “It’s probably just... a glitch or something. Stands are weird anyway. Maybe they’re feeding off our fighting energy and turning it into... whatever this is.”

Jotaro gave a stiff nod, shoulders relaxing just a fraction. “Must be. My psychic energy doesn’t... like anyone. Especially not you.”

“Ouch,” you shot back, but there was no real bite in it. You were both clinging to the excuse like it was a life raft. “Well, mine definitely doesn’t like you either. You’re too cold, you never listen and you act like everything’s beneath you.”

He huffed, almost a laugh but not quite. “And you worry about every damn thing and yell too much.”

“See?” You pointed between the two of you, trying to sound confident. “We don’t like each other. At all. So this whole thing with the Stands is just... random. Psychic nonsense.”

“Exactly.” He adjusted his hat, pulling it lower like he could hide behind it. “Dumb nonsense.”

Your stand chose that moment to cup Star Platinum’s face in her hands and kiss him slow and sweet, like she was trying to prove a point. Star Platinum’s eyes half-closed and he kissed her back just as gently, one hand stroking her back in lazy circles.

You and Jotaro both looked away at the exact same time, faces burning.

“Dumb nonsense,” you mumbled, voice smaller now.

“Yeah.”

Neither of you moved. The stands kept being all lovey-dovey and gross behind you, but the awkward tension between you and Jotaro felt... different. Like you were both secretly relieved to have this stupid excuse to keep pretending.

You didn’t like him. He didn’t like you. That was the story you were both sticking to.

Even if your psychic energy was screaming the opposite.

You risked one more glance at him. Jotaro was watching the stands again, expression unreadable, but his fingers were tapping lightly against his arm like he was nervous.

“So, truce?” you asked quietly.

He didn’t answer right away. Then, barely audible: “...For now.”

And just like that, the denial settled back in, comfortable and safe. You weren’t ready to admit anything else. Not yet.

Your stand sighed happily against Star Platinum’s lips once more and you pretended not to feel the flutter in your own chest that had nothing to do with her.

- i can imagine him having some knowledge of figure skating, he seems like the type to know how to skate especially in the coldest seasons in england.

- he's happy to skate together with you, he's unable to keep his hands to himself. constantly around your waist or holding your hand.

- but he can be a little clumsy, the amount of times he rammed into the hard fences around the arena. he woke up with huge bruises on his torso.

- other than accidentally falling on his butt, he just loves spending time with you and will be happy enough just watching from the sidelines.

- but he won't leave your side, even when you're fully recovered and ready to get back on the ice rink.

- keeps a photo of you in your attire, looking so concentrated in his wallet. he's obsessed with it.

Josuke Higashikata

- oh he thinks you're beautiful.

- watching you skate for the first time was like falling in love all over again. he didn't think you could get any more prettier.

- one of the few people who can actually appreciate the art of figure skating and how competitive and intense it can be. its so strict it makes his skin crawl.

- will gladly record things for you, even if it means he also has to be in the ice rink to get a close look.

- tries not to move so much because he'll slip and fall on his ass. likes to say "how do you do this?" as he struggles to get up.

- always likes to run errands for you while you're practicing. need some water? he's on it! are you getting hungry? good thing he brought some snacks.

- one of the loudest people who will cheer for you in the audience.

- probably drags okuyasu along for one of your competitions. and now they're both cheering you on.

- gets knowledgeable about figure skating all thanks to you. he sounds like a big dork now anytime someone mentions it.

Giorno Giovanna

- if he wasn't in the mafia, he would make an excellent figure skater. it suits him so well, i can see it now.

- and for that reason, i'm headcanoning that he probably already knows how to figure skate. either that or he's just a quick learner when he joins your practices.

- you're the one couple at the skating rink that everyone can't stop staring. because you're both skating so smoothly and gracefully.

- you'll dance together or he'll twirl you around and kiss you sweetly. everyone hates you guys for being too cute.

- lowkey mightve considered entering a competition with you as pair skating. and honestly you were so down for it.

- isn't too worried about you getting hurt. he can heal you, kinda. you just have to sit tight.

- he's got a lot of money now from running the mafia, he might even rent out a space for you to promise.

- anything you do he thinks its the coolest ever. because you're the coolest person he knows.

- doesn't know anything about figure skating, let alone know how to skate on ice.

- he's down to do anything with you, even if you drag him in the rink and guide him with your hands.

- he's prone to tripping a lot over his feet, i fear its damn near impossible getting this man to even flow stead on the ice. but you refuse to give up.

- while he leans against the railings, he's in awe when you freestyle on your own. you twirled in the air and into a forward spiral.

- "you're really flexible." he would comment out loud, making you giggle.

- will always find a way to make it to your competitions. and he will make it a mission for him to be at the front where its easier to spot him in the crowd.

- loves the different outfits that you wear. especially the cute legwarmers you wear.

- he'll get super worried if you ever get hurt though. he'll jump over the rink if he see's you tripping and falling.

- and its sweet that he cares but his hug is so bone crushing. will gladly be a distraction to you while you recover from not skating.

- hey it's pretty cool.

- does he know anything about figure skating? no. does he care? not really. but if you like it, then he'll like it too.

- he didn't realize that there was a lot more to figure skating than he thought.

- shamelessly admitted that he only ever watched clips during the winter olympics. in which, he pesters you to tryout much to your own horror.

- quick learner if you ever wanted to teach him to skate. but he pretends to be bad at it just so you could hold on to him a little longer.

- he'll learn the more he starts skating with you but he gets kinda lazy sometimes that he just wants to sit back.

- wants to recreate those movie scenes where you meet at the middle and share a kiss. but when you try to do so, you crash into each other instead.

- even when he falls or trips, he pretends like it never happened lol.

- won't always be there for your practices and competitions but he makes sures to call you before or after.
