another question of extreme import: has hikari ever fallen asleep while keeping watch over the camp at night?

Only once that I can recall. It was a shared shift between him and I. We had spent most of the time talking, a little bit dancing. I was making tea while waiting for Castti and Thronè to get up for the next shift, and Hikari just... Fell sideways, completely conked out. Nothing I tried woke him up. I remember being so scared that I woke Castti up early. Luckily, he was okay, but...

He had been using the Shadow’s magic to keep him awake, but it was counterproductive since he needed to use so much more energy just to keep the power at bay, so he ended up falling asleep for a fair bit of time. We were on the Southern Cropdale Trail, and reached Timberain by the time Hikari woke up.

I will never forget how scared and worried I was that night.
