When I think of them together that's the first place my mind goes to... Hien giving him a little pep talk and patting him on the shoulder, and Aymeric through glassy eyes is staring at him like, "wow his arms are huge.. and his hazel eyes are so soft.. he's smiling so sweetly I could just--"

I have done a lot of thinking about that fucking meeting specifically, because I was like 'lmao why are they sitting next to each other' and then after the scene he and Aymeric are STILL next to each other talking, comparing religions to cults and-
I just KNOW Hien is wanting to make Aymeric feel better in my fucking bones. He would hear of his past and have to fight the bile of rage in his diaphragm, because HOW COULD ANYONE TREAT SOMEONE SO TRANSPARENTLY VIRTUOUS AND KIND THAT WAY!? AND HIS OWN *FATHER*!?
...and then he would make a dry-witted absent father joke to try and lighten the mood. Because he's a dipshit. And from that point on I think they are just. Next to each other whenever they end up in a room together and its very gay.
SO ANYWAY THIS SHIP HIT ME LIKE A FUCKING TRUCK OVER THE LAST TWO MONTHS. I AM DEAD ON THE PAVEMENT, AND GLAD.
