There are couple of charges that qualify as a driving offence, commonly called DUI (driving under the influence). These include Impaired Driving, Over 80, failure or refusal to perform physical sobriety tests or give breath or blood samples.  Not only that, but this also includes Impaired Driving charges connected to driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.This is noteworthy because as Canada moves to legalize marijuana, new changes will be implemented to existing DUI laws. Marijuana consumption trends are changing, and with it the way in which people interact with and interpret the law.

Drunk driving or driving under the influence of drugs is a crime, but what defines a DUI (Driving under the influence) or DWI (Driving while intoxicated)? The following infographic explains what is considered illegal in both Canada and the USA, and what are the differences.

Brad Gage Makes a Special “High” Episode of “Drunk Driving” with Jake Weisman

Jake Weisman doesn’t drink so when Brad Gage made a slight adjustment to his Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee-esque series with getting intoxicated thrown in to have him on. (Brad is 100% sober during the whole thing).

It was worth it.

Really, Weisman is worth having in your car to chat about how terrifying life can be whether he’s stoned or sober. 

Through the ride, you do, however, find out situations where it would be best not to be high.

I see a lot of shit on here against drinking and driving but not enough against smoking weed and driving. The effects of marijuana may be less debilitating but still impact reaction time and motor skills and more attention needs to be brought to this because no one takes it as seriously. I don't care if you've done it a million times or you think you know yourself better than actual scientists do or you just had a few hits or you think you can drive fine while high, you're compromising public safety.
