Hi! i'm a transgirl (pre-everything) in the future i'd like to try a lot of different hairstyles but my forehead is rather taller. what can i do to bring that down so i don't have to have bangs forever
Sometimes it can be helpful to add height to your hair - like rather than letting it lay as flat as possible against your scalp, giving it volume or doing an updo or something else to give yourself more space between the start of your hairline and the top of your head. If you’re into coloring your hair, I’ve definitely noticed that changing my hair color also changes the way my features look, so that’s worth experimenting with. The thing about bodies is that we judge proportions relative to other features, so there’s a lot you can do hairwise, beyond bangs, that will minimize the tallness of your forehead. Experimenting with different hairstyles is a great way to go, and I’d also recommend checking out youtube tutorials and beauty bloggers for other kinds of hairdos that will give you the effect you want while also being fun for you!

This week has been a nightmare, mentally/emotionally, but self-esteem wise? Amazing. Suzy Berhow has a high forehead and she’s boss, and Ashly Burch is battling the same mental condition I have and she is also boss. I can do anything. I look great.
