15 Years can’t be a more suitably named debut. Australia’s High Tropics, fronted by Josh Stewart (formerly of The Ninjas), turns back the hands of time just about that many years with their first single. We return to the 2000′s with High Tropics to revisit a classic era when bands like The Strokes and The Killers were topping charts with some of their finest tunes. The Australian newcomers, who’ve just signed to esteemed label Roll Call, floods us with sweet nostalgia while serenading us with their propulsive thrumming, crunchy clinging garage rock.
