BUILDING SNOW FORTS WITH LOKI PLEASE!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Loki is very inept in snow, surprisingly

He cannot

I repeat

CANNOT for his life make anything with snow (without magic)

The idea of a snow fort (at first) truly upsets him.

"Darling, my hands will go chapped!"

"What is the point of building without magic? I can make snow, and I know I'm Jotunnar, but what is the point?"

You take him outside as soon as you have about 3 feet of good, snowman snow.

He's grumbling and compaining the whole time.

When you finally start packing up a fort, he sinks to his knees and tries his best to help you.

He may complain before helping his darling, but hey

He helps.

He helps good.

Even if he is bad at it.

When he gets the hang of it, he starts having fun and telling you stories.

"When I was a child on Asgard, Mother and Father did not want Thor and I playing in the snow. Perhaps it was my heritage and my father being paranoid, but we were told it was unfitting for princes to dirty their clothes with the weather."

"I know! How ridiculous."

When your fort is high enough, you sit within it.

"Mind if I join?" he'll purr.

"What do you mean I have to make another? We've been out here for an hour!"

Once his fort is finished, he starts lobbing snowballs at you.

Hard.

And you dodge

every

single

one.

Safe to say, you win the snowball fight.

Pre-Thor.

Prince Loki has learned to be a reclusive creature. He's taken to resting (hiding, really, from his brother's boisterous antics) in the trees on the edge of Frigga's garden, sitting there to read or practice magic or gaze at the sky. But as Loki returns to his familiar sanctuary, he notices a young woman around his age taking a route just past the gardens. Every day, he sees her. Every day, he grows accustomed to her passing by. One day she doesn't come by, and Loki's sent into a nervous frenzy. Cute fluff ensues as he tries to find her, and once he does, has to explain just why the young prince of Asgard is so very concerned about her change in schedule.
