The Yuna on the left is a low-polygon model and the Yuna on the right is a high-polygon model. You might have noticed throughout the game characters looked more detailed at certain times during the game. Low-polygon models were used during world exploration, battles and cut scenes that did not have any (or very few) close-ups on the characters face. High-polygon models were used for close-ups because the purpose was to show facial expressions on the character during a cut scene.
