About 200 people (83 percent of them Inuit) live in Resolute, Nunavut, Canada, yearround. A main source of income is providing logistical support for tourism, mining, and research in the High Arctic.
Devon Island in the Canadian High Arctic is the largest uninhabited island in the world. The photo shows an area just west of Cuming Inlet.
