"When I said that maybe you should add a dress in your wardrobe to impress that guy that's been eyeing you every time we’re at the bar, I didn't mean drag me along in the process."
She’s lucky that she was smart enough to ask him in front of Libertus that would back her up and send him on his merry way on their next day off. Nyx is a hundred percent certain she's solely doing this to mess around with him, a passive-aggressive way of saying 'fuck you'. Granted, he's definitely earned it, but at this point it's something to be expected between the duo --- bickering back and forth, snide remarks, trying to get underneath the others skin without actually insulting/offending them in the process. You know, like brothers and sisters do.
Crowe was like a younger sister to him, not that he'd ever admit that. Ever. That'd imply he liked her and he was certain she'd hold that against his ass until the end of his days if he ever admitted that under his breath.
"That dress looks too bland on you, by the way. You sure you didn't want the coerul-pattern dress in the other aisle? I can get it for you. I insist."
Just because she brought him along in purpose just to torment him some didn't mean he couldn't find ways to entertain himself. If suggesting the worst patterns he could find in the store was considered as 'entertainment', anyway.
