//Freedom Conference 4/28/2018 My Freedom Small Group experience was amazing. I’m so thankful that my leaders stepped out on faith and was obedient to God. I went into this not knowing what to expect, I just knew everyone said that you have to do it at least once and that there was greater on the other side. So I remember on the Sunday that small groups started me saying that I wanted to do a freedom group but I didn’t know one that would fit into my schedule. A girl overheard me and said their is a college co-ed one that is lead on Sunday nights, and introduced me to 2 of the leaders. From then on I knew it wasn’t a coincidence , but God. These 12 weeks have been filled with laughter, crying, building lifelong relationships, identifying the lies of the enemy/strongholds ,spiritual warfare, and finally breaking free. After the conference I have never been so free before. Now that I’m free, it’s time to continue to free some people. Freed people free people. 252// This has been such a great semester filled with cheerful serving, phenomenal worship, and an interesting 10k. I joined this internship not knowing what to expect, I just knew that I loved serving people and wanted to gain some great Godly community. After completing this internship I could not even ask God anything more. Through this I gained some amazing family. Thank you God for my amazing small group, you could definitely could tell that it was God ordained. We all have amazingly different gifts ,that all together benefitted his kingdom. Lord I think you for all the times that I felt like I was not enough, but I was more than enough because you were right there with me. I’m so thankful for learning that ,it is not a have to, but a we get to serve with gladness. Thank you 252 for helping me grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man. Sometimes you gotta remember where it all began. 10 years ago, the Tuscaloosa campus got started (check @jimmy.bowers rocking the Buckle jeans). After about 8 1/2 portable years - setting up and packing up - that little campus grew up! Today, over 4,000 people joined us for church to hear a message on end times. Some found small groups and friends, others served with the highest excellence possible - and lives were changed forever. People found Jesus and freedom. I pray I never take it for granted being a part of something so great and a part of the greatest team on the planet. I sure do love #HighlandsTU, it's been such a blessing for me and my family! The Parking Team does more before 7am than most people do all day! Love these guys and how they do everything with such excellence in welcoming folks to campus, to getting everyone in and out of the property so safely - and quickly! #highlandsTU
