Kindness: One of my best friends - My girlfriend has grown to become one of my best friends, and we were also friends prior to when we started dating.  I know I can always trust her with things I usually wouldn't tell anyone, she seems to keep my best interest in mind, and she supports my ambitions.  Also, she challenges me intellectually and we can have conversations where we aren't just agreeing on every single thing.
