So in our journey towards our desire to homeschool, Jacob has participated in a few very cool thingsthis past year: #highpointhomeeducators co-op, vacation bible school, safety town, and one of the most unforgettable homeschool field trips to the Pacific Northwest. The rest of Jacob's school year, we were needing some structure and accountability and at the same time needed resources that wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg. We found #k12online which is a public school system curriculum that puts me and Laura in the learning coach seat, spending 6-7 hours with Jacob on every subject. Jacob also gets to do online class rooms with other kids in his grade. It's been a tiring couple of days, but getting into the swing of things and experiencing the satisfaction of seeing Jacob get it in subjects he has struggled with is something I would never trade the world for.
