Peeko would have panicked and flapped around the room until he landed on my head, lmao. If even a leaf falls past the window, he freezes.
Beatrix is like that! She CANNOT HANDLE IT if there are birds or squirrels on the balcony--she just freezes and won't stop staring out the sliding door, and if I try to scritch her for comfort she grumps and rapid-bites at me, like, "NO NOT NOW I HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON THESE SUSPICIOUS CREATURES"
Spencer LOVES it, though. He gets super excited and runs around the chair and replies to the birds if he can hear them (he does a decent blue jay imitation these days, lol). He'll also run around going, "SHPOOP SHPOOP" or "WHAT YOU DOING" or "COME HERE, BUDDY" at the outside birds. :D I don't know if he likes seeing them or if they make him territorial--he does tend to puff up and do his "aggressive kiss noises" sometimes, so maybe he's trying to scare them off, but 1) they ignore him or can't hear him and 2) it's ADORABLE to watch.
