I first got into Homestuck in 2014, when I started my freshman year of highschool and met a bunch of friends who were REALLY into the comic back then, to the point they often talked about it at lunch and basically convinced me to check it out xD I had a Foods/cooking class with one of these friends, and I remember around Christmas, the whole class worked in groups to make cookies together, and me, my friend and another girl in our group all worked together, and me and my friend made some of the cookies into Homestuck characters xD I remember 2 of them being specifically of Karkat and Tavros. Well, after we made the cookies, we all sat down and watched Elf for the rest of class, and afterwards me and my friend went to lunch. Our group was eating outside like we usually did back then, and i remember mentioning to one of my other friends how we were watching Elf, and..... this ensued xD
Friend 2: Elf is stupid!
Friend 1:.......*marches towards the table, orange frosting smeared near his mouth* What the fuck did you just say about Elf?
Friend 2:............. You have orange on your face.
Friend 1: Thats because I just blew Tavros.
Me;*sits there frozen as I'm eating, processing the joke for a minute, until I suddenly burst out into uncontrollable laughter* xD Not Tavros! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
