2016: 15 Year old me: "No I don't wanna watch supernatural! My boyfriend tries to Roleplay as Dean with me-!"
2025: 24 year old me: *Watching Supernatural for the first time getting to season 3* "Why the fuck was he trying to roleplay as Dean with me?"
I will never forget my highschool relationships #mindmyface #bestfriends
I regret not having a serious girlfriend in highschool
See when you're younger everything is still new and fresh. You have all those "firsts" to go through. It can be awkward and weird at times but it's also sincere and innocent. As you get older your opinions on love and romance change a little bit at a time. Your outlook on it will never be exactly the same as it was then or as it is now. Savor it while you can people.
Nothing is cuter than a boy asking a girl to prom.
Except maybe puppies.
all these feelings are so new & confusing to me. i may play this fairly experienced girl but in all honesty you're my second real boyfriend. but i've decided, putting all these new emotions to the side, that kissing you has just become one of the best things ever. i try not to let you see the effect you have on me but it gets hard, i'm pretty weak sometimes.
That aweful feeling...
When you realize you and the one you love may not be together as long as you'd like. When you realize your graduating in two years, and leaving the country and may never see them again, only phonecalls and web cams to keep you connected. If you're even still in contact. The future is coming so fast. I know what I want to do with my life, but that means leaving my highschool friends and family behind. That might include leaveing her behind too at some point. I don't want to, as weird as that sounds. I'm only 15. It feels so foolish to think a highschool relationship has even the slightest chance of lasting. Sometimes I wonder if she would even want it to last. It's me. I still find it hard to compute that she has actually willingly stayed with me this long. I love her, I really do. Iv'e actually never felt this way about anyone. But I'm 15. I sound like an idiot thinking these things. Senior year, I'll be in a technical School. Then I'll be living on my own, going to college. Then I'll be employed, and maybe someday have my own mechanics shop. In Toronto. God Knows How many miles away from everyone. I don't want to be attatched to people as much as I am. Im afraid I wont be able to say goodbye.
