I just don’t get the things that happens about Tarrant family Hightopps clan in both movies….

“That blue paper hat”

“If this hat survived, my family must have too!”

“Oh, my dear family”

“Alice, oh Alice you simply must come and meet my family, after all you are the very person who saved them aren’t you? We’re going to have so much fun together!”

“Oh, but of course you do have a family of your own don’t you? You only get the one”

“But you are my mother and I only have one”

Had to add Alice and Tarrant parallels about their families.

Anyways…

If the red queen had Tarrant family stuck in the glass frame box, since 6 fricking years….

where were they?

when Alice came for the second time in AIW and regained the revenge for “killing the hightopp clan” and took the white queen crown for all the evil that the red queen did.

so how did the red queen take the hightopps family with her and stayne when they were both were banished to the outlands?

Because the guards took them, straight away to the outlands, so there must have not been any time to take the hightopp family with them

And where were the hightopp family in the first movie if the red queen was hiding them?

Moreover, where was she hiding them?

Didn’t stayne know about the red queen kidnapping of Tarrant family for the past 6 years?

HOW did the red queen hide the hightopp clan for 6 years?

How did the red queen shrink the hightopps and stuff them in the glass box frame?

Why didn’t the red queen guards tell Tarrant and Alice that the hightopps were alive and the red queen just took them into hiding?

Because in the second movie we see the red queen guards taking Tarrant family away on horevendush day…

What about the animals that worked for the red queen?

Didn’t the animals know where they were because they were in the red queen castle all over, surely they must have seen them, they could at least told the white queen or someone?

But the main question is where were the Hightopp family, because Tarrant and Alice were in the red queen castle when they took Tarrant and Alice came and wanted to save him, so where were they?

In the red queen castle, or I don’t know where?

So many questions unanswered…..

Now the hat….

When Tarrant was speaking to Alice what happened to his family in the first movie, AIW, because we see in the second movie, ATTLG, that Tarrant dad kept his hat Tarrant first made when he was a child, and he kept it until tarrant grew up, then came horvendush day, the hat fell on the ground and Alice learned they were alive after all these 6 years,

So why wasn’t the hat on the ground in the first movie when we learned in the second movie it fell on the ground, when Tarrant family was taken away by the red queen?

Surely, tarrant could have seen the hat on the ground when he was speaking to Alice about his past in the area where it happened, probably I think cause it flew away or I don’t know

It’s all very confusing, like it doesn’t make sense, my brain is trying to figure it out after 6 years lol 😂

I know no one really gives a shit about my opinion

But I feel as though through the looking glass didn’t do much for the hatter.

Like I don’t know exactly how to describe it but in just the first movie he felt a bit darker and more broken. You saw him kind of freak out on the Cheshire Cat. He yelled, and he would talk fast and get off track, yell his name and he came back. He felt more insane. I thought it was interesting too for the dark scenery around him and just them at the table as a giggling nonsensical mess.

He was also more nervous. In one scene he was talking to Alice and he was talking really quick and stuttered a bit. He was darker also for he almost killed the Queen of hearts eh, boyfriend?

Then you get to looking glass and idk.

He feels more silly. Like yes the entire movie is about getting his family back but he doesn’t feel the same. He doesn’t feel as mad, as broken. He feels, sillier? He feels less, him.

I cannot find the words for it.

He just...
