Mornings, were the same as always,
"Boring"
Higuchi looked around carefully as she was walking through the mafias hallway, and yawned when she made sure that nobody was around. She had no idea what she was doing and why the heck was she still here, where she knew that she didn't belong to, but she was; even after Akutagawa straightforwardly rejected her and made it clear that he was not romantically interested in her. Her affection for him was the only thing that kept her coming back to this brutal job everyday, and now that it was gone, she didn't know what she was doing.
Or maybe she did.
A quiet sound of crying caught her attention that was coming from the rookie girl's office. She stopped walking and got close to the door to see if what she heard was right.
Yup, someone was definitely crying in there.
Poking your nose in other people's business was not a popular, but rather dangerous thing to do in the mafia, so she was a bit doubtful on whether she should go inside or not; but there was a feeling inside her chest that made her open the door without a second thought and run to Y/n, the new girl, who was hiding her face with her hands and quietly sobbing so no one would hear her.
How the hell was she even able to notice her voice?
"Y/n? What's going on?"
The girl slowly raised her face and looked at the blonde in front of him. Her puffed eyes showed that she had been crying for a while, and no one had even bothered to check up on her.
Slowly sitting next to her, Higuchi wrapped her arms around the girl as y/n's cries got louder, and pressed her face to her chest so that she could comfort her without saying anything.
What could she even say? People don't talk about their problems in the mafia.
"It's... ok..."
Slowly caressing the girls back, she automatically placed a kiss on the girls temple, that made the girl stop crying and look at her.
The blondes brown eyes wear peaceful and calming, even though there were shades of sadness if you looked at them carefully. Her smile was one of the things that y/n liked about her since the day she met her on the mission. She was never able to confess her feelings about her, but maybe her problems at that moment were the things that encouraged her to place her lips on hers.
Higuchi was shocked. It was the first time that anyone had ever kissed her, and she was expecting it to be a bit... different.
But "different how?" was the question that was on her mind. Would she rather be with a guy who particulary didn't care about her at all? or with a guy who would just want her for one night and then never call her back? Or... she could be with a girl who was kind to her, and showed her affection toward her as soon as she got a chance?
Maybe it was her choices that made her suffer, not the people around her.
Slowly giving in, she closed her eyes as she started kissing y/n back, while running her fingers through her soft, pretty hair.

He's not my top favorite, but idk why writing about him is so easy and calming :)
The white haired boy took a glance at the girl, who was sitting on the ground, silently looking at the wall while placing her head on her knees. She had been like this for half an hour, staring at the blank wall without saying a word.
Right after when she got back from her mission.
Atsushi experienced this too. He remembered the first time an innocent person died on his mission. He remembered her figure when her soulless body collapsed on the ground, and how other people were screaming around her. He remembered them all, and he still had trouble sleeping afterwards because of the guilty feeling he was carrying with himself, and now Y/n was going through the same thing.
A little girl died on her mission. She was too young, too pure to even understand the term "Evil", but that didn't save her from the bullet that was aiming her little heart.
Y/n couldn't forget her face. How could she, when it was the only thing in her mind?
Sighing out of tension, He got up and sat next to his s/o, slowly wrapping his arms around her as he held her head againts his chest.
"It's ok sweety... It wasn't your fault..."
"But... I..."
Her tears suddenly breaking out of her eyes didn't let her finish her sentence, and Atsushi was not expecting her to. Instead, he pressed her in his embrace even harder, letting her know that no matter what will happen, he will always be there for her, with no questions asked.
Y/n couldn't forget those horrible scenes she witnessed earlier, but with having someone like Atsushi by her side, she definitely felt better.

Hes literally my favorite, and he needs to be comforted more than anybody :')
Gently caressing the girl's hair, Dazai held her closer to himself, letting his girl cling on him like a koala so that maybe it would make her feel a bit better.
Nights with Dazai was usually not this quiet since he had trouble sleeping and y/n was not willing to sleep without him, but tonight was a bit different than usual. It was about her.
Y/n was never this quiet. She was never this hurt. He knew that his girlfriend was stupid; and he had an idea why she was like this; but he knew that it was a personal matter and she was not comfortable enough to talk about it. At least not yet.
So instead of forcing her to talk about it, he slowly leaned toward her and placed his hands on her cheeks, planting a small kiss on her forehead as she closed her eyes and a few drops of tears decorated her face. They both somehow ended up on the bed, with y/n curled up againts him, quietly sobbing until her breathing became soft and her voice was not heard anymore.
Dazai observed his lovers face as he gently caressed her cheek with his right thumb, making a commitment to himself that he would never let anyone hurt or upset his reason living, ever again.
" Sleep, my sweet Belladonna, I promise to make tomorrow a better day for you"
