Happy New Year! I decided that this year I want to work on the areas of my life that I’ve been neglecting. This year I want to re-dedicate myself to my practice and develop an actual meditation practice. Handstands have always been hard for me. I have never trusted my body (I was never the most athletic child and I always felt let down by my body especially in dance class) so trusting my arms to hold up my not so small lower half has been a journey and a half. I can finally feel some control in my inversions and it is a miraculous feeling! I wanted to share with you some of the amazing people who have been a part and who continue to be a part of this practice for me. If you ever have a chance to take @erinkellyart and @casa_colibri #inversion workshop do it! They are amazing and their tips and tricks will absolutely enhance your practice! Next up if you need to build your core there isn't anything better than @ab_asanas by @the_southern_yogi (well I haven't tried the second one yet maybe that's better 😂) I've been using this shook for about a year now and I can feel how much stronger my core is. And last but certainly not least my girls, the #hiittoinvert #tribe @heatherlynnfit @tiny.kirsty this practice has changed my overall inversion practice and continues to build up my stamina!
