Knock Knock?

I was hanging out with a hearing friend when she was laughing at something on her phone. She turned to me and say:

Her: This is hilarious! you will love this!

Me: Oh?

Her: Okay, a joke. Here it goes... Knock Knock

Me: *silence*

Her: ..... knock knock

Me: *silence*

Her: GIRL, you were supposed to say “Who is there?”

Me: Oh, I am sorry. I couldn’t hear the knocking

Her: -_-
