BYAKUREN HIJIRI, THINKING OF MIKO ATTEMPTING TO FLIRT WITH A MONOLOGUE ON CALISTHENICS: I mean, she *is* Prince Shoutoku, you know. Do you think Dengyo Daishi really had visions sent by her?
NUE HOUJUU, TECHNICALLY ONE OF THE OLDEST YOUKAI IN THE TEMPLE: Ummm...
MAMIZOU FUTATSUIWA, HAS SEEN THIS BEFORE: I do s'pose it couldn't hurt to try things out fer a while.
SHOU TORAMARU, ALSO TECHNICALLY OLD AND EXPERIENCED: Lady Hijiri, didn't we talk about referencing monks without some explanation for the laity?

Touhou Ship Week, day 1- Invitation! Drabble-y HijiMiko, Ao3 link under the cut
Dear Byakuren Hijiri:
Senkai feels quite lonely without you around. The days pass by like they always have, but nothing feels the same since you first arrived and then promptly left. I think the energy of the house likes you! I am compelled to invite you back, whenever you want to arrive, however you want to come, whatever you want to do. Do you prefer tea parties or quiet nights in? Whatever you desire, my dear, please respond with your desires and I will make them come true!
-Your true dear, Prince Miko.
-----
Dear Toyosatomimi no Miko,
I find it humorous how you still refer to yourself as "Prince"! I have no exact desire of activity, but I would enjoy to return to your residence. I will be arriving on foot, at dusk in the coming days, and I would like for us to sit down and discuss what we plan to do about this relationship. You won't mind the formality, won't you? But I will be there!
-Byakuren Hijiri, monk of the Myouren Temple
