#I have like.#an ideaaaa of one I guess?#ssso she's like a. humanoid being with east asian dragon attributes #(I'll just say she's a “skyborne” for now)#I think when I was looking at east asian dragons some of them were depicted with facial hair #(or had features that can kind of resemble it)#so I was like #“ok what if all members of this particular subsect of skyborne had facial hair?”#this character was also based off of a certain figure from france I think #I wound up finding out about her through a neocities blog ran by an anonymous intersex person #and this woman (I think her name was claude? EDIT: IT'S CLEMENTINE DELAIT AAAAA) was bearded #she had a pretty successful cafe and was known to be quite proud of her facial hair #so I think the vague memory of her also served as the basis of my currently unnamed character #so as an intersex member of skyborne where all sexes can grow beards #her peers / family noticed that her facial hair grew much faster than expected like male members of the race #I think this in particular was loosely based off of CAH?#I've kind of just rationalized it as like “oh she had more androgens”#“so when she was growing her body went under some more masculinizing effects #like longer and faster-growing facial hair”#I wouldn't say that she has CAH? I don't think a term like that would even like.#enter the society's vocabulary #so I'm a little reluctant to say what variation she does have #but also I think I was trying to look into CAH more. maybe I can incorporate that salt-wasting thing too idk #outside of this I think she currently just lives on an isolated peak of a mountain—not too far from her birthplace though.#back then she was a sort of martial artist and probably taught others self defense or something.#she specialized more in like. close-quarters lightning fuckery too #though she's old now so she hasn't really been doing anything like that since foreeeverrrr #I think she does eventually pick up one last student who is a landborne resembling a mantis #who basically somehow managed to track down the mountain she lived on and was like “hey I'm cursed with storm powers help”#and then the skyborne was like “????? how??? did you get up here??? you look like a stick” and tbh idk where it goes from there
