hikari couldn’t sleep because of her recurring nightmares, regarding her past. She described them as being trapped in a room with a woman on a giant tv. Even though she looked nice, she kept repeating “you are a toy. You’ve always been a toy.” Over and over again.

And she remembered something about a bad toy box where she was forced to put living toys in. She heard grinding sounds from it. It scared her very badly

Alastor would stay up with her, because that’s what good parents do, right? Hm…. Perhaps tonight they’ll bake something small together.

“Papa!” Hikari ran up to Alastor, wanting to give him a hug, but she tripped on her shoelaces and fell with a thud.

“Nya! Owie!” She cried

Alastor gently scooped the small cat child up into his arms. “Hello there, are you alright?”

Alastor reached out and caught the falling girl. “Woah there!”
